Nurse Practitioner

Nurse Practitioners are authorized to diagnose, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medication and other treatment. A nurse practitioner (NP) is a registered nurse with advanced university education who provides personalized, quality health care to patients. Ontario nurse practitioners provide a full range of health care services to individuals, families and communities in a variety of settings including hospitals and community based clinics. We work in partnership with physicians, nurses and other health care professionals to keep individuals, families, and communities well.

As Nurse Practioners, we can provide the following services in support of your health:

  • Labs and diagnostic testing
  • Prescription renewals
  • Chronic disease management including diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, asthma, and COPD
  • Mental health
  • Chronic pain & medical cannabis
  • Traditional and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy
  • Contraception
  • Women’s health and Preventive health screening including Pap Smears
  • Men’s health concerns
