Nevesha is a Registered Psychotherapist who is passionate about creating a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space where clients feel supported and empowered. She primarily works with adults navigating a range of emotional and mental health challenges, and her goal is to build a strong foundation of trust, safety, and collaboration in every therapeutic relationship.
Nevesha has experience supporting clients with a variety of concerns, including depression and low mood, generalized anxiety and excessive worry, social anxiety, panic disorder, agoraphobia, specific phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and post-traumatic stress. She also helps individuals work through life transitions, interpersonal relationship challenges, workplace stress, and other personal stressors that can impact overall well-being.
Her approach to therapy is grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and she thoughtfully incorporates emotion regulation strategies, mindfulness, solution-focused techniques, and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) to meet the unique needs of each client. Her work is client-centered and collaborative, focused on helping individuals feel more connected to themselves, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels right for them.
With a deep respect for cultural diversity, Nevesha brings a culturally sensitive lens to her practice and has experience working with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds. She is trauma-informed and a proud ally of the LGBTQ+ community, committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and affirming environment for all.
Nevesha believes that even small steps in the right direction can lead to meaningful growth. She’s here to help you explore what that direction looks like for you — and to support you as you take those first steps forward.
She holds a Master of Science in Psychotherapy from McMaster University, is registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), and is a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
