Marianna is a multilingual holistic nutritionist (English, Hungarian, Slovak) offering nutritional consultations for individuals and families as well as corporate wellness lectures and workshops about a variety of nutrition-related topics.
Prior to her interest in natural nutrition, she worked in the field of Molecular Biology. She earned her Master of Science degree in Biochemistry from Queen’s University in Kingston. Her interest in the holistic field developed while working in mainstream pharmacy where she experienced the lack of nutritional and lifestyle changes as part of a comprehensive healing program. Marianna decided to study holistic nutrition at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and earned the designation Registered Holistic Nutritionist.
To further expand her knowledge in natural nutrition she attended training by Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride and became a Certified GAPS Practitioner. In her practice she implements the GAPS therapeutic program to address all chronic conditions (psychological or physiological) that stem from intestinal dysfunction, including but not limited to ADHD, learning disabilities, autism, eating disorders as well as digestive, inflammatory, endocrine and autoimmune disorders. She also offers nutritional counselling in the field of detoxification, weight loss/gain, meal planning, etc. An essential component of her nutritional consultations is Live Blood Cell Analysis which serves to identify nutritional deficiencies, inflammation, compromised immunity, etc.
Marianna firmly believes that anybody can take control over his/her wellness by introducing changes in food selections, meal preparations and other daily habits. As an avid holistic lifestyle promoter, she often shops at the local farmer’s market and prepares meals for her family from scratch.
