Have you always been a worrier? Do you feel stressed and overwhelmed? It’s hard to sleep sometimes, and you feel like you can’t turn off. You are not enjoying life the way you know you should be. Sometimes your past comes back to haunt you, which adds to your stress. You are coping the best you can, but it feels like nothing is working. Are you barely hanging on and looking for ways to get back the life you want and thrive? I specialize in working with adults and teenagers (16+) to develop the tools and strategies needed to manage and resolve feelings of anxiety and trauma.

We will work together to create a comfortable, safe space for you to share and feel heard. This allows you to increase your awareness of thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations to figure out what is working and what needs help. Sometimes we focus on the here and now, while other times the focus is on deeper work.

Treatment modalities I am trained in include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), with additional specialized CBT training focused on anxiety disorders and chronic insomnia; Eye Movement Desensitization Response (EMDR); Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) which is used to treat Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder; and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
